Experience
As a dedicated midwife with experience in both hospital settings and as an independent practitioner working in a continuity of care model, I have been providing support to women in New Zealand since 2019. Having owned my own practice with a team of four midwives in New Zealand, I have recently relocated to Australia and am so excited to continue my career with Mymidwives.
I have a passion for offering continuity of care to women throughout their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. I am committed to supporting you every step of the way as you prepare to welcome your little bundle of joy into the world and I look forward to being your guide as you embark on the beautiful journey of parenthood!
Midwifery Interest
Congratulations on your pregnancy! What a special and amazing journey you have ahead of you. I strive to care for my women, as I would a sister or a friend and am passionate about creating a positive, safe and empowering birthing experience for you. From the moment of finding out you are pregnant to the moment you become a parent I endeavour to support you every step of the way. As I am a mother to a beautiful 9-year-old son, a 4-year-old daughter, and two vivacious teenage stepdaughters, I understand what it is to experience pregnancy & childbirth & am excited to work with you towards a healthy, happy pregnancy. I am a big advocate of woman’s choice and will ensure to provide you with up-to-date evidence-based information so you can make informed decisions around your care. I support normal birth but also have plentiful experience supporting women with high-risk pregnancy.
Personal Interest
I love spending time with my husband and our children and taking our sweet Toy Cavoodle ‘Ben’ for his daily walks. I’m a big lover of the beach, and have been riding horses since a child, so whenever time allows, I will likely be near the sand or on a horse. I also love a good DIY project so when the urge hits I will likely be decorating or building a deck or a playground in the back yard.
