I have been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years working in a range of areas but mainly theatre as an Anaesthetic Nurse and in the Intensive Care Unit. I have always wanted to be a Midwife and my plan was to dive into it once I graduated as a Nurse but life had other plans. After the birth of my babies (all my midwives babies) the birth nerd in me was well and truly ignited and I made the leap back into study. Life is certainly busy with 3 little people and studying but I am so passionate about birth, babies and supporting women and their families and am very excited to be embarking on this chapter of my life.
