Experience

I have provided Continuity of care for women and their families from 6 weeks of pregnancy to 6 weeks Postnatal, birthing at home, Primary birthing units and main hospitals both in UK and for the past 16 years in NZ. I most enjoy working in the community providing care for families and supporting them through their birthing journey providing individualized care for women as they require. I am so excited to join My midwives group and continue my career as a midwife in Toowoomba QLD, I am a mother and a young grandmother to 2 children and a 7 year old grandson, my birthing experience was 2 cesarean sections after 42 weeks of pregnancy in the hottest of summers in UK so I have plenty of empathy for pregnant Ladies!

midwifery interest of employee

Midwifery Interest

For the past 12 years I have been in private practice in a suburb of Auckland NZ working in a team of like minded midwives, our aim was to empower the women in our care to experience their pregnancy in the most positive way, understanding their individual needs and providing a safe environment for them to grow into motherhood. I am a calm, patient approachable midwife who can adapt her practice to working with different cultures, sexualities and age ranges, and believe my support is both physical and psychological in enabling you to have the best possible outcome to your pregnancy.
